A purpose-built Passive House manufacturing facility that set a new benchmark for sustainable industrial construction in North America.
Located in the Pemberton Valley, the original BC Passive House Factory facility demonsts how industrial-scale operations can be both highly efficient and architecturally refined. The project was one of the first of its kind a mass-timber hybrid structure (CLT and glulam), prefabricated wall and roof assemblies, and a fully optimized building envelope built to full Passive House certification. WEE provided the electrical, lighting, life-safety, and fire alarm systems, carefully integrated into the Passive House energy model and coordinated with airtight construction, heat-recovery systems, and Net Zero performance goals.

A high-volume, ultra-efficient industrial facility that proves sustainability, safety, and performance can thrive at manufacturing scale.
