Expanding a flagship Passive House manufacturing facility to meet growing demand for high-performance building systems. The BC Passive House Factory Expansion adds over 23,000 square feet of new production, office, and storage space to the original Pemberton Valley facility.
As long-standing electrical consultants for BC Passive House, Western Element Engineering designed the complete electrical, lighting, life-safety, and distribution upgrades for the expansion. Our work ensured seamless integration with the existing factory, supported new industrial equipment loads, and preserved the stringent efficiency standards that define Passive House construction. The result is a flexible, efficient, low-carbon workspace designed to keep pace with the rapid growth of sustainable building technologies.
