At Lions Gate Hospital, Western Element Engineering provided electrical design for the renovation of X-Ray Room 4 within the Medical Imaging Department.
This project supported the replacement of legacy imaging equipment with a new Siemens digital radiography system. The renovation included upgrades to the control booth, specialized millwork, and lead-lined partitions, along with electrical systems for imaging equipment, UPS tie-ins, lighting, and nurse call safety integration. Construction was carefully managed under infection-control protocols, with negative air systems and hard hoarding to protect ongoing hospital operations.
Western Element Engineering’s role ensured reliable, code-compliant electrical systems for critical diagnostic equipment, contributing to a modernized imaging suite that enhances healthcare delivery on the North Shore.
